For some individuals, adhering too strictly to fixed schedules and timers may lead to a sense of being “over productive.” The pressure to complete tasks within specific time frames can induce stress and guilt, especially if unexpected interruptions or important calls arise.
We also believe that overuse of the technique can be counter-productive for our growth as it can sometimes evolve into an incredibly strict behavior. One bad day, and negative thoughts creep in, and all that effort goes to waste.
So, we’d recommend trying out the Pomodoro Method three times a week for a month and then sit down, and write how you actually feel about it. Be honest when you review that effort as it will make or break it for you.

There are several myths and misconceptions surrounding the Pomodoro Technique, which have mostly been provided by Internet Gurus and aren’t exactly true:

You have to work for exactly 25 minutes on a certain task.
